Mercedes CLS is actually one of the most anticipated models of the company and it’s so popular mainly because of its radical shape. CLS was the first car in the world which introduced coupe-shape sedan styling, and while many other companies have copied its style, none of them were nowhere near as good as the Merc.

For the next generation, there is no doubt that the actual shape will remain the same. That curvy roof and pillarless doors are parts of its unique character. But the car will have different detailing. Some say to keep it on trend as other Mercedes models, the 2011 CLS will look quit like the new E-class. CLS is literally an E-class underneath, and the new models might inherit some of its styling cues as well, like the shape of head and tail lights.
